Hi! I’m Evangeline (Evie) Calder, a UK based communications professional with a passion for sustainable development, gender equality and global affairs. I’m also a member of Ethical Writers & Creatives.
A bit about me
I have a BSc in Environmental Economics and Environmental Management from the University of York, as well as an MA in Transnational Studies from University College London.
I spent two years working for charities and NGOs in London, including PEAS (Promoting Equality in African Schools), C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group and the NSPCC, before heading off on my travels around the world for six months. I’m now back in the UK, and looking to continue my work protecting the environment and helping encourage others to do the same.
My hobbies include writing, editing, travel, photography, videography, cooking, dancing and learning as much as possible about the world. I’m a huge fan of afternoon tea (and GBBO of course) and am a passionate advocate of Earl Grey & Lapsang Souchong.
I also love creating websites, and I’m currently teaching myself to code.
